AAA Amarillo Insurance and Member Services

Ms. Amy Frank is an A+ employee. Kudos to Ms. Frank. I called her to set a cruise up for me with about two weeks notice. She said she'd get right on it. I had no idea how Awesome her "right on it" would be. She asked me questions about what i was looking for and how many days. She was able to book my round trip flight, one hotel night stay, transportation to the airport and cruise line terminal to and from. She took care of everything. I flew from my town to Miami Florida. I stayed at the Couurtyard Miami Airport over night so as not to have to rush around to get to my cruise line (Iwould not have thought of this). She sent me my documents, labels and tags. Had a total engine failure in Amarillo outskirts, leaving us stranded; we're from Houston. Tow driver Darryl Putman really went above and beyond for us, giving us info on resources in the town and making sure we were safe and taken care of for the evening. Really appreciate him and AAA.

Insanely frustrating experience. They issued an International Driving Permit with validity date on 12/24/2025 INSTEAD of the date of 11/8/2025 I requested on the application. I wouldn’t bother with a bad review if they would just respond to a phone call and fix it. Instead I got promises of a call back and passed through innumerable AI phone agents who cannot fix the issue. Absolutely stupid.

I am so infuriated with AAA. We have been members for many years strictly for roadside service. We never needed till a few months back and had a blow out on highway. We were not able to change our tire due to traffic and car being on a slant. We were 10 miles from a town and they were sending a tow that was 2 1/2 hours behind us. That was the best they would do for us. We called for our own tow and still trying to get a refund. I have filled out their paperwork twice along with original receipts. If this is the kind of service they offer to us when we are in a bad way, we are definitely wasting our money. Thanks AAA. Still waiting on our refund!!!

Last June 1st/2024 we wanted to use the road assistance services that AAA offers and it did not work at all. My daughter needed assistance at 10:00 pm and she was waiting until almost 1:00 am alone in a gas station, had to call the police because the road assistance from AAA never came and she had to leave her car. The next day I went to take care of her car and called again AAA, besides that the person who answered my call was not polite, he told me that "when they could assist me they would call me back". It was 10:00 am in the middle of the heat, after two hours of waiting I had to call another company and they came within 30 minutes. Six hours later someone from AAA called me to say they were coming. By then I did not need them anymore. We are paying for a service that it is not been p
