AAA Commercial Transmission

Very pleasant folks to work with. AAA waited, with my car parked there, while l arranged a loan with my credit union because of my limited cash flow. Two weeks out I'm not sure about replacement, but they give a 12-month warranty and that assures me.

AAA Commercial Transmission took great care of my vehicle. Ed and Russ are awesome — professional, straightforward, and clearly take pride in their work. There were a few hiccups at first, but they stuck with it and even helped me figure out other issues beyond the transmission. The work was done quickly, at a very reasonable price, and I left feeling confident in the repair. Highly recommend them!

I've had several transmissions rebuilt from these guys over the years and never had any issues after. There old school no computers, hand written receipts old shop, but they know auto transmissions and our normally cheaper than the shops that have the fancy waiting rooms and painted shop floors. I've had 3 truck trans, an Ford escape, chevy Blazer, and pontiac g6 trans done by this shop. Also probably over 20 friends and family transmissions rebuilt there only one had a comeback issue and it was a Failed torque converter and they fixed it. In my experience, usually only the people that didn't get what they wanted or one particular problem leave a review a bad review. Most people that have no problems usually don't leave a review. Will never take my vehicle back here again! Spent around 3k here getting my transmission replaced. A few weeks later my car stopped going in reverse. They had told me if I have issues to just bring it back. So I did. I brought it back to the shop after hours and left a note to call my dad about it as I would be out of town for a week. I called and spoke with a mechanic about ALL of this beforehand also. I got home a week later and my dad said he received no calls from anyone. So I called the shop and was told that they still had not "had a chance" to even look at my car. I called 4 days later and was told they'd "get to it when they can". I would not recommend doing business with this shop. I have not had any vehicle worked on here, but I never will. I had an issue with a man driving a work van on Dorothy Avenue in Brentwood. It is a narrow street, and it was extra crowded with trucks from the construction workers who were working on the elementary school. I was almost down the street when the work van turned from Litzsinger to Dorothy. He blocked me and refused to let me pass. I had nowhere to go. If I had moved, I would have side swiped the work van and/or one of the trucks to my right. He refused to back up. He just sat there waving and laughing at me. He's a psycho!
