beware of this AAA shop I had my daughter’s Chevy Cruze towed here after it overheated and showed a “shut engine off” warning. I approved to pay for diagnosis expecting a clear answer on whether the engine was okay. Instead, I was told the problem was water pump bolts backing out, damaging the belt and tensioner, and was sold a $1,480 water pump/belt/tensioner job. I approved the repair based on that diagnosis. Once the car was torn apart, the story changed. Suddenly there was a snapped bolt in the engine block and the new total jumped to over $2,200. If I didn’t continue, I was told I’d owe about $585 just to get my car put back together and that the car could not leave disassembled. I intended to go thru with the repair still but had asked them regarding the engine since the car over

Laurel was amazing and helped me out on a terrible day. I was towed to them after getting a flat tire, hours - and states - from home. They didn’t have the tires in stock and I was told I may have to wait days. Laurel called several places and was able to identify an auto shop that had exactly what I needed, and they took me same day. Thank you so much!!!

Oil change / tire rotation usually takes about 1 hour. One time it was 50 minutes. Today it took 1 hour 45 minutes. What was the difference? The fact that the tech left my vehicle on the lift untouched for 40 minutes. How do I know? I watched it all closely through the service bay window. Car was brought in promptly, oil change was prompt. Inspection was prompt. Then the tire rotation was performed as follows: Car sat on the lift untouched from 12:15 to 12:50 when the tech returned (presumably from lunch) and took the last 10 minutes to rotate the tires. I don't like to complain but that was maddening.

Needed to get new tires, scheduled an appointment a week out they said it may take a little longer than usual but I should get it back same day. As I hesitated they said don't worry bring it in. Fast forward a week, I go to drop my car off at 8 AM and said can you guarantee me I get my car back today? They said no. They said they would call if they couldn't get to it by 3:30 PM. Ya see ya later, 7.5 hours to maybe get to my car? Brought it across the street to suburban tire and they were done in less than an hour.

I brought my car in for an oil change and during their inspection they noted a bigger issue that would still be covered under my vehicle's warranty. They advised me to call the dealer ASAP and I truly appreciate the honesty and integrity!
