Abysmal service. Called roadside assistance for a tow at 3pm, was given a 40 minute wait time. An hour later with no updates, I called and was given a 45 minute wait time. 3 hours go by with no phone call or text update - I called the tow company (which I had the sense to ask AAA for) and they said they were about 2 hours out. I called AAA again (now 4 hours later) and they said I wouldn't be able to get my car towed because it was in a lot of a closed business (I gave them the address of the closest business because they told me they needed a physical address during my initial report!!!). Awful experience today. Been a member for 24 years! Needed car towed one mile. Started process at 10:30 am… it’s now six hours later… and at least an hour on hold. Got notified it got picked up but it’s not at the garage! One mile down the road! Unbelievable!

TLDR they didn’t show up. It was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had with AAA and frankly unacceptable. I submitted my request at 12:07 pm 12/18/24. I waited five (5) hours and no one showed up. I was told my call was assigned multiple times and it was not. One person told me not to call the tow company directly. I called AAA right back and got a different person who actually was helpful and gave me the tow company’s contact info. I called the company and got sent to 2 or 3 different people to check in on my call. One of them thought it had already been completed and asked if they jump started my car. I said that was definitely not me; I was in a parking garage and my car was not drivable (sent photos). The tow company called back AAA and explained that it wasn’t assigned and that

I had signed up for auto and renters insurance. However I don't get proper responses from my agent despite multiple follow-ups. I decided to switch insurance providers and had sent out emails to my agent as well as called multiple times mentioning that I do not want my renters or auto renewed. I also tried cancelling it directly with the insurance but because it was via an agent they said I needed to get it done via my agent. Despite mentioning well in advance for the cancellation , it was renewed and I was charged for the renewal. I called up to try and get a refund as I have all the emails but they say they cannot refund the full amount.

Used aaa on June 1st to pick up my truck, they sent me a tow truck driver who didn’t care to measure the height of the load and then also ignored a bridge clearance sign that he was not going to make it under. A month and a half later I’ve been passed off to liberty mutual who insures their tow truck, their customer service department had called me to take my statement but for some reason only passed the statement from their driver onto the insurance company. Who somehow tried to blame me for the accident. But, so far I’ve been told my truck is totaled, no payout yet just a low ball offer that’s less than I’ve put into this truck in the previous year.
