If you care about your vehicle (or safety), please go somewhere else! This shop attempted to repair a warrantied transmission for us twice. It took them over 6 weeks the first time. After driving the car less than 3000 miles, the transmission blew a seal. So we took it back in April to be repaired again. Steve initially gave me the runaround as John told him and corporate that he didn't want to fix it again. John then got into a fight with corporate and threatened to have Jacalyn (corporate "representative") fired. Corporate then came down hard on John and Steve and the repaired was performed since it was STILL under warranty. After another 8 weeks! We finally got to test drive our vehicle. We drove it to Santa Fe and back, and on the way back heard a pop from below the engine. I immediate

I rated 3 stars because of the free diagnostic & professional, friendly service but your prices are way more expensive than a few other shops & even the Nissan dealership. Also charging $381 for just a tranny drain & fill is way overboard & telling me this doesn't include any filters & that my transmission is a "next generation" type & doesn't need filters changed is completely false. I know my transmission is in bad shape but I expected more options than what I was given & especially false information. Again thank you for the professional service but when a mechanic falsely states common knowledge information then that makes me hesitant to have any work done with that shop. I called about my 17' Dodge Caravan having a cracked flex plate, (after calling multiple other shops). They had it in overnight, and fixed the following day. Right down to business. They were all very polite, professional, and honest working people. From the moment I called and spoke to the front lady (I'm so sorry I didn't get your name, but you're AWESOME!), to the manager, to the mechanics themselves, ALL very customer oriented people. These folks rebuilt a my transmission on my 2017 Ram 2500 truck last year. In Oct of 2025 my wife and I towed our travel trailer to Florida to visit my son and grandkids when my transmission went out. I called John at AAMCO and he had me take it to the nearest AAMCO in Florida and have them call him. I did so and they called John and two weeks later my transmission was fixed at no charge even though it was out of warranty. Thank you so much John. You are truly an honorable person and lifesaver. Because of you we were able to make it home safely with our trailer. I will recommend your shop to everyone. Thank you again.
