AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Aamco at 519 S. Brookhurst St., Anaheim repaired my SUV in January of this year. I did not leave any review for I wanted to gauge the repair. It took two weeks to find out what was causing the transmission to overheat (even though the transmission was rebuilt). Ruben, the manager was apologetic but he assured me that the issues were resolved. To date, I have no issues and will recommend his branch to anyone with any transmission issues/repairs.

This shop used to be good, but not anymore due to change of ownership. Would not recommend it for anyone. Took my car in for a manual transmission job. Provided OE parts for clutch, and bearing + seal replacement. 2 within 2 months the transmission is leaking oil excessively. Took the shop to USA auto repair next door where they found the issue. When I went back to AMMCO to get resolution, their management said since I provided my own parts there are no warranty. They blamed the issue with faulty part (of which I provided 3 new OEM seal). This shop overcharged their customer and do bad work. In addition they don’t stand behind their work. Save yourself time and money and take your car to USA auto repair next door.

DONT COME HERE!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!! I came here cause I seen they had good Reviews and as they were started to take of my transmission something told me to Look closely at the Good Reviews, if you look for yourself they use FAKE REVIEWERS to Review their Page!! If u look at the 1 Star you will see that Those are real PEOPLE. so I called in less than 40mins that they were working on my Truck and told them To Stop working on It! That ima Just Scrap It Just so they wouldn't do anything to my Truck, as I told they Lady on the phone that's she told me they are going to Charge me $500 to release the Vehicle! So I came in person To get my Truck Back ! And told them so Far they got 40mins of labor and YOUR boss Said it was $200 per Hour for Labor wich is RIDICULOUS ju

AAMCO is the best!!! Just had my car repaired there, Anaheim, CA, location. They have excellent customer service. Mechanics are certified and extremely knowledgeable and reliable in diagnosing and repairing car issues. They give a warranty on the repairs they made, 12 months, and I am so impressed with how quickly they did the repairs! I highly recommend this AAMCO, they are very professional, courteous, and friendly. 5 stars all the way!!! Thank you for a pleasant experience!!!

This shop is not only reputable but they back their work. My car was taken in for extensive damages to the front end after a previous shop overtightened my wheels and it came off on the 91. This shop not only did the work in a timely manner but they had fantastic customer service.
