AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Got the transmission serviced on my 2024 Chevy Suburban Stan was great to deal with! The dealer recommended sucking the fluid out only, that would be like changing your oil and not changing the oil filter. Completely useless!! stan is old-school. He understands what needs to be done to these vehicles, without cutting corners…… Glad I brought it in and trusted AAMCO in Glenn Ellyn for their knowledge & expertise….

I’ve been taking my cars here for several years now. Stan is awesome! They’ve fixed the transmission on my Town and Country, took care of the alternator, struts, and brakes on my Lexus and do the regular maintenance on all my cars. They’ve also checked out my kids’ cars when they’ve bought new ones. They are truly our family mechanic and the first place we go to when we have questions about our cars. Highly recommend.

Took my car in to be checked and received the best customer service from Stan! He took his time and explained to me the issues the car was having and gave me real honest solutions and options. I left feeling confident that I wasn’t just being sold on this is what you need to do and it will cost you $$$$$$$ and that’s it. They call him “Stan the Man” and I agree!!!!!

Well let me start by saying when you have a 1949 Classic car it’s very hard to find people to work on it. But rest assured Stan and his professional and experienced team at the AAMCO had me covered. After a thorough evaluation and understanding and explanation to me they were able to handle my repair and get my classic baby back to me. Stan and his team are very friendly and very transparent on the cost and time of repairs. They come highly recommended.

Brought my car in today to have brakes and rotors replaced, Stan was incredibly helpful and even helped me on the price. As a young adult, his flexibility on price was a huge deal for me. Got my car done quickly, very polite as well. Highly recommend
