AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

This is the first day I've had my car back. So my review is mainly about Hamlet, my mechanic, and Randy, the front desk person. I've felt their concern and attention to my needs and it's been an awesome experience. I'll have to reserve an opinion on the actual transmission repair until I go back for the 10 day check up. Which is another reason why I'm so glad I chose to use AAMCO to repair my Lexus! There's follow up inspections to monitor the performance of the transmission!

AAMCO was truly a lifesaver for my car. I came in feeling frustrated, but left feeling happy and reassured. My A/C wasn’t working, so I stopped by for their free diagnostic test to find out the issue. They offer some of the most affordable prices, especially in today’s economy. Joey was extremely helpful and clearly passionate about what he does. Even though my visit was brief, I learned a lot more about my car. The team is honest, professional, and people you can truly trust with your vehicle.

Definitely a place to bring your vehicle with any transmission problems. Had to have my car towed here not knowing what was wrong. Customer service representatives were patient with me and allowing my car to be towed and they received it without me being present. Immediately upon receiving my vehicle I was notified that they had it and within hours I was giving a projection of when they would be able to diagnose my car. Not only was it diagnosed within 24 hours, but they had a POA of what needed to be done and when repairs would be made. I was not pressured, nor forced to accept any repairs, but the price was reasonable, professionalism and customer service immaculate. Upon picking up my vehicle everything was explained to me in detail as well as shown exactly what was wrong with my vehicl

This location offered to look at my vehicle at no charge after I was told by another shop that my transmission was shot and charged me $95 for their “diagnostics”. These guys determined it was actually the clutch, which is what I suspected all along, and were able to complete the job in a reasonable amount of time and kept me updated throughout the process. Also, when I went to pick up my car, they showed me the parts that had been replaced and explained how everything worked and what it should have looked like. I would definitely recommend this location for any car related service you may have.

I went to Amoco in Orange Park for my annual service cuz I have a lifetime warranty on my transmission and my truck was do. It was acting strangely it was bucking and jumping and Hamlet found the problem that no one else could find. My fuel rail was chewed on by a squirrel. Believe it or not and I've taken it to other mechanic shops and no one could find the issue but I took it there. They found the problem and fixed it and gave me a great price. My truck runs better than it ever has. I can't say enough good things about the place. They are honest, trustworthy and I would recommend anybody to take their vehicle there and it may be a little bit over an hour from my house. But I'm going there anytime. I have problems with my vehicle and you should too
