My 2018 Rogue SV AWD CVT transmission went kaput on the way home and after the dealership quoted me a ridiculous price I called AAMCO and had the vehicle taken to AAMCO 11323 Midland BLVD Saint Louis MO. I received great customer service right from the initial phone call and throughout the experience. I received a prompt quote on the repairs and an explanation of what the work would entail. Jim Bagwell Store Manager was great to deal with and I felt very comfortable with this shop handling this major work. I got a phone call from Sabrina when my vehicle was completed and it was a shorter amount of time than I thought it would take and after driving, I say that they did an excellent job. I called on 7/24/25 regarding my Ram 2500 work truck, which had gone into limp mode and wasn’t shifting properly. I was told to bring it in at 8:30 AM on the 25th, but I dropped it off the evening before since the shop is close to my business. By around 1:30 PM on the 25th, I hadn’t received any updates, and having previously worked at a Dodge dealership in the early 2000s, I had a decent idea of what the issue might be—likely the valve body or solenoid pack. I had already sourced the parts locally and decided to pick the truck up so I could handle the repair myself and get it back on the road over the weekend. Had my 20yr old Volkswagen towed in after the clutch failed. Unfortunately, the parts needed to fix it were discontinued, so they weren’t able to complete the repair. That said, they didn’t charge me for the diagnostic or towing service and were completely upfront and honest about what the repair could have cost. Sarah and Josh were especially helpful, even going out of their way to look at upgraded clutch kits with me. Really good, honest people.
