We dropped off our car with an issue with the car stuttering. They hooked it up to the computer and it said that the O2 sensor was bad. Instead of changing the sensor, they decided that the throttle body was in need a changing. So, my wife went and paid cash 581 and then went to take the car home and I never made it past mcdonalds there. Same issue of stuttering. I was lucky to be able to make it back to the garage. I went back inside and told him that the car is not fixed. I am experiencing the same issue. So I left the car there again and the older guy at the desk said that they will refund us the money minus the o2 sensor, since they will now put that new one in. They are also going to take out the new throttle body that they put in and put the old throttle body back in. Well,

This place is as bad as they get. Totally lied right to my face and charge me for the privilege. I brought my care in that I had a new transmission installed at another Aamco. Told them that another shop looked it over and said the rack was not tightened right. They said it was a perfect install and it was the ball joints I told them the ball joints were only 2 weeks old at the time the transmission was installed. Their reply was they must be defective (both). Took it to have the ball joint replaced and they are fine. The rack was loose and one sway bar link is missing. If they can't tell the difference between the rack and a ball joint they are in the wrong business. If you like your car NEVER take it to any AAMCO.

He did an amazing job on my truck. My truck needed a transmission rebuild and he was upfront and honest about the whole process. My truck feels like it’s running like brand new. I love supporting good family businesses that actually care about the person on the other side of the counter.

If I could give a zero I would. They replaced the transmission in my truck. Upon picking it up I barely made it to a gas station to get gas. After a couple of weeks the car started running rough. Brought it back and were told it was not the transmission, but the motor. Took the truck to a garage who ran all the diagnostic checks, charged us and told us it was definitely the transmission. Brought it back to aamco who now charged us to diagnose it to tell us 100% it was not the transmission. Took it to a second garage who knew right away wasn’t the motor, but sent us to a guy who regularly works on transmissions. Within 5 minutes he said 1000% it was the transmission. This little garage has now repaired my transmission, worked with the warranty, so all parts and labor were covered. Thank you
