AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Spoke to a guy named Ron on the phone about transmission problems and codes from the check engine light. He was able to help me out over the phone and do some research over the phone with me very nice guy and went into detail about what the code actually meant without even seeing my car. surprised that he took time To do it thanks ron.

Had a transmission put in my 2014 Silverado on May 1st at a cost of $7400. In July I had to take it to another Aamco in Zanesville Ohio and they replaced it again. A week later the same shop had to replace it a 3rd time and when I told the manager a few days later it was doing the same thing he had me bring it back and put 2 tubes of Instant Shutter Fix in it which someone shouldn't have to do to a new or remanded transmission. It is now November and my truck is at yet another Aamco in Louisville getting a 4th transmission. The price, constant issues, renting transportation and being without my truck is too much. I would say use any company except aamco

I called asking to schedule my Forester for a CVT fluid change and Ron was very helpful explaining what the more likely issues were and how to preserve my warranty by seeing a dealer first. It's hard to find honesty like that as I know there are plenty who would just say "yep" and take my money. I'll definitely be keeping this AAMCO in mind for future needs when my warranty expires.

Ron was very helpful in finding my warranty information & getting right back with on how to handle my transmission issues. He has worked on other vehicles we own very efficiently! I high recommend the services offered here !! Customer service was fantastic to !
