WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RIDICULOUS PRICING. Had them pickup my truck on 4/22 owner told me he'd diag the issue and get back to me. He claimed he was very familiar with 6.0s and could most likely fix without new motor. Waited 8 days never heard anything so texted owner if he had chance to look at truck. Sends blunt message "needs engine" ask to call me to go over his diagnosis and he never did. I call him next day and has no explanation as to what is wrong with engine just says needs new one and wants almost 4k just for labor to install it. Truck still runs, drives, no metal in oil, just looses oil pressure on low side. I ask how much I owe you as of now if I decide not to move foward and he said $200 bucks. I decline to do work as didn't feel a true diagnosis was

I WENT FOR A LITTLE MISFIRE ON MY ENGINE AND I WAS CHARGE 500$ FOR A 60$ IDLE SENSOR AND BECAUSE I COMPLAIN WHY SO MUCH ..THEY REMOVE MY BREAK FLUID AND LEFT EVERYTHING LOSE AND CLAIME MY BREAK PUMP WAS BAD..WHEN THERE WAS NO PROBLEMS WITH MY BREAKS WHEN TOOK IT THERE AND THEY EVEN RIPPED VENT LINES OUT BECAUSE I WOULDN'T LEAVE THE CAR FOR THEY CAN RIPPED ME OFF LYING ABOUT THINGS THAT WAS WRONG WITH MY CAR AND ALL I TOOK IT THER FOR A SMALL MISFIRE..THER MECHANIC LOOKS LIKE BACKYARD GUESSING GUYS..PLEASE DON'T TRUST THEM..

I've had only great experiences with this shop. They're honest, fair, no BS and they don't try to do get you do anything unnecessary. My car is always ready to pick up next day or the day after. I highly recommend these guys.

I usually do not write reviews but I have to write one for this shop. The owner of the shop, Dan is a great guy. He is not afraid to make it right no matter the problem. He is very patient and willing to do anything to make it right. He listens and understands. He is very "old school" and by that he gives customer service. Not too many auto shops offer that with the bill any longer. He is very understandable and willing to help in any which way he can. I had a problem and he is in the process of making it right. He didn't point the finger at anyone or blame anyone he said let's get it right. He did not defend himself or any of his staff. HE LISTEN and is solving the issues. NO EXCUSES!! I m going to make American Auto Repair & performance Center my preferred shop going forward

My CV shaft broke and was towed to American auto repair. 1st time being there but these men treated me as family. Fix my car the same day, didn't over charge me and very professional. I even added tune ups and they were kind enough to do it eventhough they were busy .Best auto care I have received in a while , all I can say is God bless Danny and his team.
