I can’t say enough good things about Acclaim. They are honest, thorough, and genuinely know what they’re doing, which is rare these days, especially with high-performance and classic cars. As a new classic car owner (69’ Camaro recently purchased), I really appreciate how they take the time to walk me through everything. They don’t talk down to me or rush the process. Instead, they properly diagnosed the issue, explain what they found, and were completely transparent about next steps. No guessing, no unnecessary parts, just solid, knowledgeable work. You can tell this is a shop that takes pride in doing things the right way, not the fast way. If you want a mechanic you can actually trust. especially if you’re new to owning a classic, Acclaim is it. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.

Honest, dependable and reasonable. I have a 1965 CJ 5 with (unusually) a six cylinder Buick Dauntless engine. I took this vehicle to two other well recommended valley mechanics. Neither could get this vehicle to stop leaking!! Dave and his crew are professional and experienced mechanics that solve problems efficiently and completely. My old blue jeep has never run better! Great, thanks to Dave, Michelle, Rich, Chad and all the Acclaim crew for the outstanding job they did bringing our '72 Chevelle back to life. New engine and radiator, new wiring, and air conditioning, new console and shifter, new gauges and steering column. They did it all, and in the worst heat of the summer!
