Ace Automotive

My vehicle broke down on the Kansas Turnpike while in route to a conference in Wichita. El Dorado was the closest town so I found the 4.9 Google review of Ace Automotive. Call them and they helped me found a tow truck option at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, after Ace look at my vehicle, it was determined the engine lost compression and cannot be driving. Ace charged a reasonable fee to diagnose my car, then worked with me as I arranged for the car to be sold and towed a couple of days later. All I can say is this is midwestern hospitality at its best. Every town needs an Ace Automotive, especially in the Lawrence/Kansas City area. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this shop. They take such good care of my car. Every time I've been in here, Joe has been such a great help. The team at Ace is very thorough and does a fantastic job. They don't try and upsell you or charge you for things that you don't need. I won't take my car anywhere else.

Had my 07 in for a/c charge again (second year in a row), still didn't cool very well and now one of actuators in the a/c box under the dash is broken, it bangs for 10 seconds every time the car is started. They wanted $1000 to fix the actuator. Will not use Ace anymore!

I've used Ace Automotive for years, and have never been disappointed with their service or their pricing. They've always been very accommodating, friendly, and absolutely know their stuff!

I’ve gone to ace twice now in the last few months. Separate vehicles* hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic shop. Friendly staff, quick to keep you updated on how things are going, and overall just very transparent. There’s a reason they’ve received high remarks in their reviews, because they’ve earned it.
