Ace Transmission

After a really bad experience with the new owners at Chip's Transmission in Sevierville, it was great to walk into Ace and be greeted by Michael. He was totally up front about all repairs, even sent pictures of broken bad parts and was first class to deal with!! Can't say enough about the fast, honest, work and customer service was out the roof!! Thanks again to Michael and the gang!!

The shop was closed for a holiday when I first called to ask about dropping my truck off so I left a voicemail and I got a call back very soon after to talk even though they were closed. Took my truck in they explained all the issues along with pictures texted to me as proof and kept me well informed of the status of my truck throughout the updates. They had to fully rebuild my transmission and they only had my truck for two weeks even with me dropping it off during the holidays! Charged a very reasonable price and even offered a discount for not meeting the original deadline because waiting on the parts took longer due to the holidays. When I took the truck it in wouldn’t shift past third gear now it’s running like new. I couldn’t recommend this shop more!

Extremely positive experience. Our 2016 Chevy Traverse's transmission was slipping. On the recommendation from a family member we contacted Ace Transmission. Michael, the owner was very helpful. He arranged a tow truck which arrived very quickly. He gave us a diagnosis and an estimate within a few days. The estimate was , I felt, reasonable and fair He also worked with us on the payment. Within a few days we had our car back. I waited about 6 weeks to submit this review as I wanted to see how are the car performed. No problems at all and I'm confident in the work that was performed. I feel I've found a trusted mechanic.

Automotive repair can be split into three categories. The mechanics, the transmission, and auto body. That said Ace is my transmission shop from now on. They came highly recommended by the reputable people I already depend on, and Ace did not disappoint, so I highly recommend. Just fantastic guys. The manager, Michael; I believe is his name, is just about as good as it gets. Fair price, honest people doing honest work, and their followup is unparalleled. I needed a new transmission for my 2017 Nissan. I must say that I am behind impressed with Ace Transmission! Not only was Mike friendly, professional, and great to work with, he also provided the best price out of all the other transmission shops in Knoxville. They provided a free tow to their shop on a Monday evening and the repairs were completed on Thursday!
