Acrisure Post Falls, ID (Dickinson Insurance)

Unfortunately, after doing business with this branch for 3 years, I cannot recommend them. Our agent was the type that when you email and ask 2 questions, she only partially answers 1. Then you spend all day going back and forth attempting to clarify. Suddenly, a week goes by and you realize you haven't heard back so you start over. They messed up our payments and charged us to switch payment methods without being up front about the charge, then denied that a charge was even applied. Regardless, after "changing" payment methods, they still drew on the old bank account. All of this started because the lousy insurance company they had us paired with (Encompass/National General) has an almost entirely non-functioning website. If you're a new customer and they are selling you a new policy you'll get a response. If you want help with a current policy they don't return calls, multiple calls over several weeks. You're better off buying insurance directly from Travlers or whomever they quote you for.

One day I called and found out he was no longer working there! No one ever let me know that to be the case, so I had a forced, sudden pairing with Lisa D. From second one, Lisa D was rude for no apparent reason whatsoever. The next three times I needed help, she did a little better as long as you didn’t have a challenge. I tried to do a simple change to automatic payments. That turned into a three week problem that only got solved by me continuously pursuing answers. Cody is the best! She is so patient with me considering I’m very hard to get a hold of. She has always gone above and beyond to find us the best deal. A wonderful communicator & a very kind person.

Had insurance through them for a couple of years and it was good. Only good when you actually have a policy through them. They were extremely rude when I wanted to close my policy (and same experience for my parents) the dude on the phone and my agent were very short didn’t want to help and passive aggressive. They sent the E docs to sign I signed them over the phone and assured me everything was said and done with nothing extra for me to do to ensure my policy was actually closed. Today I get an email from Allstate wanting me to pay up. Called Allstate and my policy was still 100% active. They legitimately closed it for me in under 10 minutes no problem. Definitely never using Dickinson insurance ever again.
