They have had my Jeep for almost 3 months. They were to rebuild my tranny but now it won't crank. 3 MONTHS THE'VE had my jeep and it's worse off than when it went it. I called once a week to check on the progress but all they say is "I don't know, I'm to figure it out!! It still there.

This is a long time family owned transmission shop ! I called before I came & was greeted by the nicest man I could ever have talked to ! I Love my Jeep but it was around Christmas & it seemed everything was going wrong with it ! I needed my SUV, & after a sensor had been replaced by a nearby shop , I drove it home & the transmission started shifting horribly, & I knew I couldn't drive it like this without ruining the transmission! I drove into their shop & the owner put it on the rack & was totally amazed at what he found , there was a rock stuck in the tube going to the transmission!! He dislodged the rock, hooked up his computer under the dash & told my husband & I to get in & ride with him. Transmission in my Silverado barely lasted a year don’t waste your money on these scrubs

Always heard good things about this shop, decided to give them a try. I call Adams garage about a truck I have with transmission problems to see if they have time to look at it. They tell me that they are a little backed up and probably wouldn’t be able to get to it for a month or so and to go ahead and bring it to them and they might get to it sooner in between waiting on parts for other vehicles. I say that’s fine and take it to them. A couple days later a different man calls me at 6:45am and says they won’t be able to get to my vehicle at all. So after limping it 30 miles to their shop and barely making it I have to tow it somewhere else. Very unprofessional

I had my transmission rebuilt October of last year. I got in an accident August this year. Insurance company needed a copy of the receipt where I had it rebuilt so they can up the value on my suburban. Called Adams Garage to get it. I got the copy and noticed they didn't record the mileage when I had it rebuilt so now my insurance company won't increase the value because they didn't record the mileage at the time and we don't know how many miles were put on since it's been rebuilt. During the process of the fixing it; I called to check on it and the mechanic had one of the nastiest attitudes I've ever had to deal with. When I called to ask about the mileage he said he NEVER WRITES IT DOWN. Make sure they record your mileage before you leave and make sure it's on the receipt!!
