Advance Auto Parts

My battery completely died on a recent trip to Kingston. They were able to test the battery, get me a new one, and install it without a hitch. Really kind people and good service. Thanks so much for getting me out of a bind.

First time back here in over a year after a very bad customer service experience with a rude employee. However this time the staff were very friendly and welcoming. My online order was ready to go when I arrived and was packaged up nicely. The employee asked if I wanted a cart to take the parts to the car, and loaded them onto the cart for me. As I ordered brake parts, the employee even took the time to check that there wasn't anything that I forgot to order that I might need to get the job done, which was very much appreciated and noticed (grease, brake clean, etc). The past experience is the only reason for 4/5, but will definitely be coming back after the most recent experience.

We went here to look for specific items for my grandson's first car. The aisles were somewhat sloppy and in disarray. They didn't carry what we were looking for, which were quality floor mats. All they had were the cheaply made ones, albeit at exorbitant prices. Not a good experience.

It was a decent auto parts store. There only seemed to be one entrance that comes very quick if headed north on Albany Avenue . So it's easy to miss. Headed south, you may see Advance sooner, but need to cross two lanes of traffic to pull into the parking lot. So it is not the easiest place to get in and out of. Fortunately for this Advance, there are not many options close by. So that probably helps them. There seems to be adequate parking with some parking in front as well as on the side. You probably could pull into the lot for the businesses next door if you miss the entrance. They may not be thrilled, but it's probably safer than trying to get over to the proper parking lot. You only have to cross a small patch of grass. I parked in front, and it wasn't the cleanest place ever. But n
