Just like that the plastic hardware holding my windshield wiper blade cracked all apart. All I did is lift it up to do a final snow cleaning before getting the driveway got plowed. Wiper still very good. Just a couple years old. Remembered Advance Auto Parts 🏁 in Skowhegan, Maine store signage stating Free Wiper Blade Installation. Just about two miles from the house. Explained my situation and gave him the wiper. Yup, wiper still good & just need new plastic mounting hardware. Stacy pulls out two big boxes!! Keep in mind when you buy a pair, there are several types of wiper arm styles. Since they offer free wiper blade installation, leftover hardware is saved!! That is totally awesome. Appreciate being treated like a knowledgeable customer instead of being judged as a clueless woman. Having worked years in construction and as a custodian busdriver I do have knowledge in many fields. The young man that helped me get brake line parts this evening was helpful and multi-tasking with other customers waiting and answering phones. Very polite and found me parts to get the job done!

Went in around 5pm asked to have them scan my 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander check engine light and the man said his OBD2 reader wouldn't read my code because it wasn't one of the more high-tech readers so I was going to buy one but at 279 I just could afford to tonight get home and my mother in law had a cheap small OBD2 Reader that gave me the code needed and was able to reset the light

I LOVE going to Advanced Auto Parts in Skowhegan! So many cool accessories to choose from as well as affordable parts! This store helped me discover one of my favorite products, peelable spray paint! So much to choose from that won't break the bank. I always have fun at this store and can never walk out empty-handed!

Service there has plummeted. The guy behind the counter is extremely rude. So much so, when my son brought back the battery he asked to deal with someone else. Who was very pleasant. Thank you, Ethan! Upon arriving yesterday, my son stated that he called about a battery and the guy cuts him off and snarkily states that he has had 4 people call about batteries today. So my son attempts to continue his inquire and the guys cuts him off 2 more times. This store used to be run with more professionalism than this. Unfortunately, we will be taking our business elsewhere, in the future.
