Advantage Toyota - Service Department

I agreed w other customers that this place took 3 hours to do a oil change. Rude to customers. Not worth to be considered as a reliable service provider.

I have been driving with toyota for about 10 years now. Every model I have driven has been fuel efficient and reliable. I've been coming to the toyota advantage in valley stream for my regular service maintenances. It's always under warrantee so I don't pay for anything. While your waiting, take a walk around the Green acres mall that's a 5 minute walk from the service center.

I gave them my car for inspection, and they didn't even give me a temporary replacement vehicle. They said the transmission need replacing and that it would only take three days. They did fix it properly, but it took them 25 days to repair it. They are very slow and lazy.

The worst place ever! I have been there 5 times, and even with an appointment I always have to wait at least 4 hours to get an oil change (which I could tolerate as it is attached to a shopping mall), but today that I had to check some noise in my car, even with an appointment, the very rude guy who “assisted” me told me that the appointment was just to see them, and not for the car, and “maybe today they will check to give a diagnostic”, and they just do a drop off, not a pick up when the car is done… and they charge $200 to do a diagnostic, if the car really need to be fix they will charge the difference. I bought my Highlander in 2020 from Advantage and use their maintanence dept for most of my services. I dropped my vehicle off for a scheduled car maintenance and pending recall. While I waited, I was called about changing my air filter for A/C and changing fluid for my differential. I knew the AC filter needed to be replaced and with their suggestion had both issues fixed. It did cost several hundred dollars, but in my experience through the years with Advantage, I trust their advice and work in maintaining my car. The maintenance rotated my tires, topped off fluids, checked the brakes, and changed the oil, as well as fixing these issues and completing the recall.
