Affordable Automotive

I have been using Josh ever since he took over this shop like 7 or 8+ years ago. You will not find a more fair and honest mechanic. Their have been multiple instances where he could have done un needed repairs, and instead let ne know they were not needed. He goes above and beyond on customer service. I now live in Waterllo and still drive/tow the hour to get my vehicles to him.

The only mechanic shop I would ever think to recommend. I've always had good experience and timely repairs. These guys offer a lot of additional services like towing, that really helped me out in some tough spots. Josh will treat you with respect. He is very honest, and courteous. That man really cares about doing things right. Their prices are always super fair and never extortionate. They always stand by their work. I go to them now exclusively. Affordable Automotive is how a business SHOULD operate. They're an island of competence and virtue in an industry saturated in seedy practices. Give these guys a shot. They'll treat you right.

We have brought two different cars to affordable automotive; each time communication was top Notch. One car had serious issues, they promised not to go over the quoted amount. Happy to report they held to their word. Glad to find an honest mechanic!!

If you are reading this review, please be aware of this business and its owner, particularly if you are a foreigner and a woman. I visited this shop based on a referral from one of my clients, as my car required rotor repairs. The following morning, the owner informed me that my vehicle was ready for pickup. Upon arrival, he stated that he only accepted cash payments, which seemed unusual for a business of this nature. Besides he mentioned that he accepted CashApp, which raised additional concerns. After picking up my car, I discovered that the initial problem persisted, leading me to question the quality of the repair work. Upon further research, I found that this business does, in fact, accept credit cards. I paid this dude $1,000 for nothing, he didn’t fix the problem, and till this dat

I brought my car in last weekend they told me they could not get the part until tuesday. The part came in on Tuesday morning Josh called me he let me know and they had the car done within 4 hours. Also they were kind enough to give me a drive home pick me back up and make everything very seamless as possible. I would highly highly recommend these guys for any automotive problems you might have. Thanks Josh... Also a special shout-out to Evans.
