I called the morning of our arrival . The process was seamless , the mini cooper was perfect , and the price reasonable . Great location ! More than anything it was the level of service I received personally that would make this my go to when on the island for a rental . The kind gentlemen who received our return even dropped us to the ferry as we were having so much fun, but cutting it close . That’s what it means to go above and beyond . Thank you guys again so much for making our day trip so spectacular!
I originally planned to rent mopeds from a different place on the island and they cancelled on me last minute due to the weather that we just had. I didnt think I was going to be able to pull off a same day rental from anywhere on Nantucket but I found affordable rentals on Google and gave them a call, they were incredibly nice and helpful and I ended up renting a nice, clean newer electric BMW car, I had it for 2 days and it was only $190 so they live up to their name! And it ended up being a MUCH better decision than the mopeds as it ended up raining all weekend. Very happy with my purchase and will be coming back here anytime I go to Nantucket! I was able to explore most of the island in the comfort of a car!
Enjoyed the drive to Great Point & all around the island in a new clean Bronco. Convenient walk from our hotel (Faraway). Key drop at end of day saved me parking near hotel after hours. Efficient, upbeat staff at counter. Attendant got my phone’s Google map on cars screen quickly…
We rented the electric BMW i3s. It was a great size for touring the island. It was nice to not have to put gas in it. The psgr. door handle became unattached, when trying to open the door.. That was very inconvenient. We would rent from this company again, but, please fix the door handle.
We rented the all electric BMW & it was perfect for touring all around the island. It is pricey for a day BUT I’ve heard it’s cheaper than taking a car on the ferry. Also, we have used the Wave to Sconset & Jetties as well as Lyft, but having the car for the day allowed us to truly see the entire island. Highly recommend Affordable Rentals. Everyone there is so friendly and especially the man who showed us tips on the car. Very kind (didn’t catch his name but he told us he’s from Vidalia, Georgia!). A+++
