Air Team Vehicle Emissions Testing Station - Lincolnshire

It was really quick & easy. Maximum wait time was 5 mins. This was on a Wednesday afternoon. They mention on the website to not come on Saturdays as the wait time is long. I wish I didn't procrastinate till last min to get this done lol. I didn't realize it was this easy.

The people at this Air Team site are very nice, and they do their work efficiently. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to have my vehicle tested, but of course I do pick times that are less busy. It is great that you can also purchase your new sticker right there very easily.

Typical vehicle/government operated facility very similar to DVM except that people traffic moves a lot faster than DMV since there are limited vehicle services to be done at this facility. I have visited this facility every two years three times so far. It is great that one is able to get the plate sticker onsite after omission test is complete to skip the DMV long lines. Though, there is a slight extra fee for that service I wish it was not part of the process. The staff are all right, but not much is expected since your interaction with the staff who are conducting the test is only about 1-2 minutes. There wasn't much of a wait period, probably because I went there during a working day lunch time. The staff was courteous and efficient and the testing was completed in a few minutes. Three lanes were available for testing.

Today I went with my brother to get his vehicle sticker and was given the wrong sticker with the wrong name. Because of this error, I was required to pay for a second sticker for my tag. Now I have to take a full day off work to return and request a refund for a mistake that was not mine.What made the situation worse was the poor attitude of the staff—there was no accountability or concern for the inconvenience caused. Customer service should be professional and respectful. If someone is unhappy at their job, it should not be taken out on customers.
