Serenity Estates of Lincolnshire

I have an elderly patient who resides at Serenity Estates Lincolnshire. As his physician,I have had medical concerns about him and have attempted to call them several times to speak to the nurses and physicians under whose care he is without any calls back and no assistance in the matter. They must either be too busy to care or not care for their patients if they don't return doctor calls.

The Wealshire has been home and a loving family to my parents for the past three months. Following a serious foot surgery, my father needed a place where he could rehab and stay with my mother, his wife of 73 years, as they grieved the loss of my brother. The Wealshire opened their arms to my parents, providing them a beautiful suite where they could be together as they grieved and my Dad recovered. The staff at The Wealshire provided constant loving care, expert wound service, three delicious hot meals each day, regular cleaning and laundry service, and kind companionship. If you care about your loved one, avoid this place like the plague. We moved a family member into this facility two weeks ago (a family decision that I was on the dissenting end of due to a 1-star Medicare rating, high number of complaints filed and citations issued over the last year, and their payment of nearly $340,000 in federal fines over the last three years). The care has been abysmal and today the decision was made to move our family member out due to bed sores and rashes stemming from lack of care. The administrative lead and nursing lead basically lied when confronted with the poor rating, downplaying the issues by attributing them to past ownership, when the current “new” ownership was linked to the facility on their Illinois licenses as far back as 4 years ago!
