I wish I had found this shop before. Mr. Brandon, owner is a straight forward honest person. I had installed a lift kit in a different shop, but could not get the alignment correctly. I was referred to Akula by a good friend of mine (Maaco, Windsor NJ). Mr. Brandon specializes in lift kits, 4 x 4 modifications. He fixed the aligment and also patiently explained the intricacies of wheel alignment. I am definitely going back when I am ready for my next set of tires.
Car battery failed and mechanic was very hesitant to honor the warranty. Very painful experience. Edit: This review is left after the second call to this mechanic regarding the car battery. I went before to him once to replace the battery under warranty after experiencing persistent battery failure. I left the car all day and did not get the battery replaced. Then I called again after experiencing again battery failure hoping he will agree to replace it without having to leave it all day after all that pain but he insisted to have to leave the car all day again. That is way too painful!! I am adding photos of the battery that did not get replaced by the mechanic on the first visit. I had to leave the car for the entire day to perform battery test before replacing it under warranty. Despi
My fiancé and I have been going here for years, Brandon and his staff are awesome. He is straightforward and won’t try to con you into getting work done you done need like chain mechanics will. From oil changes to part repair and replacement, I’m always super happy with their work. I recommend Akula to anyone
Had a coolant leak on my way home from work. Akula towing was friendly and experienced with towing my car home. I wouldn’t hesitate to use or recommend his services. And once home, akula took a quick peak and instantly noticed my coolant problem and gave some advice on how to fix the problem.
So I took my Honda Pilot to akula after my mechanic told me I needed a new transmission and it would be over $6000. I took it to akula and $500 later my truck was up and running again. They saved me thousands of dollars and were professional about the whole thing. I would definitely recommend them. Thanks guys! Happy customer
