Alamo Rent A Car

Great experience. Very easy to get through the check out area and also Easy to return. We got the special which ended up being a crystler pacifica. The van worked great, even in the snow I highly recommend using Alamo.

A summary of what occurred; WORST customer experience with my car hire from Alamo Bozeman that we have ever encountered Be very aware of what they don't tell you prior if you are not a local & plan to go to Yellowstone National Park as we did. My hire vehicle had medium mileage of 50,000 and whilst visiting canyon area in Yellowstone National Park, the vehicle displayed an error message upon restarting on the dash cluster that stated stop start malfunction or similar & to take vehcile to dealership. I turned car off & on 2 more times in attempt to clear message. Vehicle went into limp home or service mode, so would not accelerate & had no power. We were in a no cell coverage area & could not call for assistance. I recalled seeing the only garage on the way in a few miles away, so att

Picked up the car at Bozeman airport. Starting the second day, we got maintenance alerts every time we started the car. Yes, plural alerts, one for tires and one for oil and filter. We were in Yellowstone without any signal whatsoever. When we got back to Bozeman, we complained to Alamo and was informed the local manager would contact us. No contact. And there was some additional charge even though we were told we returned in time and everything was good. We went with Alamo for our last three trips. We were willing to pay a little more for customer service. What customer service did we get? Never again. Very disappointed.

The staff here are very nice and professional. The Skip the Line option is a lifesaver — without it, the wait at the airport counter can easily take over an hour. They also show great flexibility in changing cars when needed, and when there was an error on my rental agreement, they fixed it quickly and without hassle. Overall, excellent service. Highly recommend!
