Alamo Rent A Car

I had a pleasant experience renting a car from Alamo HHH airport through Expedia. I had never done it before. Would be good to know ahead of time they need to charge $400 to your credit card upon arrival that they reimburse when you bring it back. The employees were extremely friendly!! We enjoyed the car. I would rent from them again.

Flight delayed and gets in at 1:45am. Alamo website says they stay open 2 hours past close to accommodate delayed flights. We get there and there is no one at the Alamo desk, nor the enterprise desk, nor the national desk. Now we are stranded at the airport at 2am. Meanwhile budget, Payless, and Avis customers are all picking up their cars at the Avis desk, which remained open. That’s customer service. The Alamo group lost a loyal customer today. I will be booking the avis budget Payless group going forward. And if your flight gets in late to this airport, I recommend you do the same because Alamo cares more about not paying one employee two extra overtime hours than it cares about its customers

It’s easy to see that Alexis’s great leadership really shines through her whole team. From the moment we arrived, Ashley and Tim—and Alexis herself—took such good care of us. When our reserved car wasn’t available right away, they couldn’t have been more courteous, attentive, and genuinely concerned. (The vehicle wasn’t available, as the previous renter didn’t return it on time. Clearly not a fault ofAlamo/Enterprise.) They kept us updated, handled everything quickly, and even went the extra mile by delivering our reserved car right to our doorstep. It was a completely different experience than we’ve had with other companies. We recently rented an SUV from Alamo for our family trip to Panama City Beach, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The pickup location at Hilton Head Island Airport was very convenient, making it easy to get on the road quickly. The price was reasonable for a spacious and comfortable SUV that fit our family’s needs perfectly. Customer service was top-notch, friendly, efficient, and helpful throughout the process. The vehicle was clean, in great condition, and ready to go when we arrived. We’ll definitely rent from Alamo again for future trips!
