Signed up for Alamo membership & downloaded the app to make my online reservation for Memphis, TN. Received a weekly rate + 1 day due to arriving 11:30 pm on a Wednesday and returning the vehicle the following Thursday. The airport car rental is on the same property at Memphis airport, but you need to take several moving walkways and covered sidewalks plus an enclosed tunnel to reach the rental garage that is open until 1 am, which worked for us due to a late flight. The counter agent tried to charge me for my significant other when we are in the same household. She asked for confirmation of no charge for extra driver, then decided to remove the charge she added. National and Alamo are both owned by Enterprise so the pickup location stated National. We were directed to a row of vehicles

I recently went to Alamo for a car rental. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Malik who gave excellent customer service. However, I was unhappy with the rental that I was given. Malik went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and that I knew how to operate the car prior to leaving. When I arrived to return the rental car and roughly 6 AM on a Monday morning, I was greeted by Stephanie. Stephanie was smiling and giving great customer service as well. She sincerely asked me how my rental went and if there was anything that I needed to report regarding the rental. I have rented a lot of cars, but this was the best experience I have had in years. It was super easy to check in, they pulled my reservation right up and within 7 mins I was leaving with my car. Checking it back in took under 5 mins and I was ready to get on my flight. Everyone from the front desk to the attendant in the garage was very friendly. Very happy with my experience.
