Aldengate Coin Car Wash

For a quick carwash, this place is good. It gets busy though, so plan your wash to avoid the crowd. Some hoses didn't work or worked improperly and at least one of the coin-kiosks didn't read the card to begin the operation. I know it's time-based and club operated, but the counter seemed to count down quicker than normal (I had my son use his stopwatch).

$3 for the first 5 minutes, then it's $0.25 for 30 seconds. Not too bad.

This place is a knock-off of many others that offer mostly disappointment and frustration. I tried to see if my tokens would work in the machines but, interestingly, once you put coins in the machine, they are "NON-RETURNABLE" as the morons running this dump have caused the return coin slot to be inoperable. So, I placed quarters in their larcenous machine only to find that THREE of my quarters were "captured" (stolen, actually) behind the blocked coin return slot. The change machines, all of them, simply did not work, so I suppose that reflects on the management/ownership which is, to say the least, "inadequate." I'm just getting used to accepting the fact that the majority of these inbred, ineffective, inconsiderate, deceitful creeps that own/operate these facilities are of a simila

Everything you want in a self serve car wash, accepts credit cards, bills ($1s & $5s) and tokens. When you pay with a card you will see a $10 hold until the transaction processes completely in a day or so. The default price when using a credit card is $3 for 4 minutes of wash time.

I love these kind of car washes when in good shape. Machinery and products worked well; changed chemicals quickly, so no wasting product or time/money. ...Good price 5$ got me 8+ minutes. Modern controls, easy to understand. Took quarters, 1$ & 5$ bills. I liked that!...I didn't use the vacuums so no comment on those. I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about regarding staff; this is a self serve "coin" wash. I didn't notice a "inside" or any staff.
