Can’t convince me to go back. I was told my windshield wiper motor was out in the initial diagnostic. Had me put down money to order the part. When I brought it back for a new motor, they called AFTER repairs were done to say it was the wiring, not the motor. I was charged 4 hours of labor. Which totaled over $600… for a misdiagnosis and some tape for the wiring. Didn’t appreciate paying for 4 hours of incompetence. I appreciate the mechanic apologizing but not the managers attitude after I told him $607 is unreasonable. Felt swindled by this place.

I just got my car serviced by Alex Safety Lane. Ben, Eli, and Kim were very helpful to me throughout the process. I had a few minor things to fix, but they were driving me crazy! i.e, Broken glove box, issues with lock system, and horn/security alarm issues. I dropped my car off on a Wednesday, had it back before 4pm on Friday. Ben even called and checked in with me multiple times to ensure that I would be able to afford all of the repairs. And in the end, it was $500, which was SO affordable and in such a quick turnaround time. I would recommend Alex Safety Lane to EVERYONE i know! These people are kind and communicative and hard working. We ran into car trouble in the middle of a road trip. We were told the car could be looked at the same day and we received a call with a quote within a few hours. The price was more than fair and the repair was done in less than 24 hours for less than quoted. The rest of the road trip went smoothly. Thank you to everyone at Alex Safety Lane. I took my Mazda B400 truck into another shop in Santa Fe for a routine oil change, and was quoted a need for $1500-$3000 repair work. Luckily I called Alex Safety Lane for a second opinion, and Eli was able to get me in within a week and a half to diagnose what was truly needed for safety and maintenance, and I ended paying only a fraction of the lowest estimated cost at the other shop. Truly felt like I was looked out for like family, which is what you look for in a trusted mechanic. I will keep going for routine maintenance and any issues with the truck moving forward!
