After trying a few other mechanics in the area with disastrous results I came to David at Alkay Automotive from a simple Google search. I cannot believe that this shop only has 15 reviews. David is the nicest mechanic I've ever met, had my vehicle repaired and road worthy 4-5 days ahead of schedule and within the estimated cost. In an area where I've been burned by other mechanics, this place is a true gem. I will be bringing all my vehicles here from now on. Above excellent and very reliable, and communicative. Called every step of the way. I'm raving, because this place deserves it. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

My entire family has been going to Alkay for many years. Dave the owner is straight shooter and trustworthy. I now I bring my company vehicles to Dave for servicing. Dave is honest, he will never try and sell you a job you don't need and his prices are extremely fair. I swear by Dave and anyone I've recommended Dave to have always been extremely satisfied.

Recommended by a neighbor and the reviews here. What everyone is saying is true. Dave is an honest mechanic. Please call first and make an appointment. Dave fixed my 2006 Dodge Charger, which needed a new AC Compressor and Camshaft Sensor (Check Engine Light was on). I made an appointment, dropped off the car at lunch time, and Dave gave me an idea of what was needed an hour later. He did have to order parts and the car was there for a few days, but he keeps it in the shop. Dave called me with updates on the repairs as the work progressed. The co-worker who gave me a ride is going to use Dave, and I've recommended him to others. The shop is located on the south side of the 5401 building in the middle.

Dave is an incredibly honest and hard-working man. It was definitely worth driving all the way from Miami to get his opinion and getting the job done. He charged 1/5 of what the dealer in Miami wanted to charge! Im never going back to Brickell Honda! THANK YOU DAVE FOR YOUR GREAT WORK ETHIC!

Alkay was recommended to me by several friends and I was definitely not disappointed. Dave was able to get my wife's car in and repaired quicker than I expected and at a much better price than anywhere else. He is worth the drive from anywhere.
