Was not approved for financing, to be fair I don’t have good credit. The store rep said reason being was because they would have to take a $1500 cut from the loaner to finance it to me. I appreciate the transparency but maybe we could have just paid that $1500 cut to them in cash to proceed with the loan. then my mom applied as a co-signer. the store team did not follow up with the verdict. Whether it was denied a follow up call would have been nice. They did not seem interested in assisting or showing cars that maybe could work at a lower price point. Overall the interaction felt cold and disinterested. I understand “no frills” kind of dealership but lack of customer service was disappointing. The car we wanted to look at also needed to be jumped to start.

All Star Auto really came through for me when I needed help with my car! From start to finish, they provided exceptional service. The entire team was fast, reliable, and, most importantly, honest. As a woman, I really appreciated the way they made me feel comfortable and explained everything clearly without any pressure. The owner is incredibly kind, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers, it’s a family-owned business, and they treat you like family. I believe these car dealership reviews are some of the most important reviews on the internet. Most normal people do not buy many cars, so there is so little hard data to out there to feel sure you are going to the right place. So, I am speaking up. All Star Auto is a relatively small dealership. Perhaps there are frills of working with large dealerships that I don't know about. But after buying our car this morning, a used car that was a "great deal" according to cargurus, All Star Auto is JUST what people like me want. I want a good deal with minimal hassle and pressure. They let me test drive the car yesterday with no invasive credit check or pressure. I drove the car right over to a mechanic who did a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Had a great experience at All Star purchasing a first car for my daughter. I worked with Jonny. No high pressure sales. No "let me go talk to my manager". It was just about assisting us to help find what fit our needs. He just wanted to ensure we left happy. We didn't do a ton of haggling over price. Spent less than 2 min. making an agreement. I wouldn't say either of us came out on top we just came to an agreement we both felt good with. Which is how it should be IMO. If I had come prepared with a check I could have shopped, test drove, done paperwork and been gone in an hour. Very quick and easy experience. Would recommend to a friend and will shop again in future.
