We purchased a used 2019 Toyota Prius XLE AWD-E from Alliance Automotive in St. Albans, Vermont and we honestly could not be happier with our purchase. The car was in excellent condition complete with new tires and brakes. It had low miles relative to the model year. They undercoated it for us and washed and detailed it. They also graciously installed an OEM Toyota roof rack on the vehicle for us we had purchased separately and did not charge us for doing so. We also brought the vehicle to the large local Toyota dealership in the area Handy Toyota and had a pre-sale inspection conducted on the vehicle which came back in perfect order. Their only recommendation was to replace the engine air filter which Alliance Automotive did for us once again free of charge. There was no pressure to buy a

⭐️ 1 star ⭐️ I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but this experience left me no choice. I bought a 2001 Honda S2000 from this dealership for $19,000. It had 56,000 miles and looked clean. But just over a month later—after driving it less than 700 miles—the engine started knocking. Let me make it clear , I drove the car to the gym and back and to work . The car was not driven hard what’s so ever . I paid out of pocket to replace the rod bearings, timing chain tensioner, and had a valve adjustment done. The knocking didn’t stop. I ended up having to pull the engine and send it to a specialist, who confirmed serious internal damage (photos attached). The repair bill? $8,000. After my experiences with moving up here and buying an SUV with handy I could tell the difference between dealers. I was feeling a bit hesitant to buy a vehicle but for some reason I was looking for a corvette and the market as you know is a rolling dice on these vehicles you either buy high or buy low depending on the market. In conclusion these guys did an amazing job not only gave me upfront information on the vehicle but also give me reassurance that if problems arise in 30 days then I can bring the car back and get fixed for free of charge. I spotted some problems within the 30 days because lasts face it dealers don’t know 100% of the problems till the vehicle is driven more then a couple times. Updated 08/17/23: Had a bad bearing repaired today. It's so refreshing to be treated right! The work was done professionally, I was treated very well and the price was fair. It's nice to know that I can trust Pat and Alliance Automotive for my all my vehicles care. I think it's so hard to find a good trustworthy dealer and mechanic these days! This is why I'm taking the time to share my good experiences. I'll continue to update my review as needed. Update: I have continued to be very happy with my purchase. Today I brought my Outback in for a rotation and balance . I was treated very nicely and I was out in no time. Again, very impressed. I wish I could add a star!
