Alpine Import Auto

Took my ‘83 240 in for a brake repair and had PHENOMENAL service. Franz and his team replaced the brake hoses and caliper for me. They were nice and knowledgeable, and explained in detail what they were going to do my my car. They even took me into the garage to show me the underside and walk me through everything that was going on under there. As a young woman with an old car I have never experienced such an amazing team of mechanics, which is unfortunately rare. I could not recommend Alpine Auto more for old Volvo work, they are amazing. As far as I'm concerned. The best shop in Oregon. I travel the PNW, and this is my go-to spot for repairs and maintenance. Fast, fair, and always goes a little above and beyond expectations.

The crew at Alpine Import Service (AIS) are the best full service Volvo repair and maintenance shop on the west cost. I can’t say enough good things about team at (AIS) Rest assured if they can’t fix it right the first time know buddy can. I have used this shop for my last four Volvo’s over 28 years. This shop now has new owners. The people were very nice at first. They even drove me home which was very kind. However, when they diagnosed the issue with my car I felt very pressured to get the work done. I was told I couldn’t wait to get the work done.However when I called other shops Alpine’s quoted price was 500 dollars more than any other place I spoke to. After I called other shops I asked them to stop work on my car they agreed. Then by the time I had called back as I was able to confirm work at another shop, they had resumed work and replaced the part I had asked them to wait to put in and they had agreed to wait to replace. Ever since I took my car in it has been leaking oil. I will never take my car back to this shop and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I have been going to Alpine for about 10 years now and I have to say I am very happy with the service I have gotten over the years at Alpine. A few years ago I had a problem nobody could figure out with my car and the mechanic knew what it was in a matter of just a couple of hours and saved me a lot of money too. The owner Pat is a is very honest and straight with me about everything that my car needed. They even have a shuttle service that took me to work and ever picked me up when my car was ready, and it was so nice not to worry about how I was going to get to work. When Pat called me and gave me the estimate about everything he was honest and told me that we can it all in stages , he told me what I needed to do ASAP and what can wait till my next oil change.
