After looking all around Austin, I found this place very trustworthy and professional. The staff are very friendly and know what they’re doing. What I like about them is they always double check to see the work they have done resolved the problem and the car is fixed at a reasonable price and if you come back with any issue regarding the repair, they won’t hesitate to take a look at it and fix it again at no extra charge. Patrick and Jake are two gentlemen that helped with my vehicles during two different visits. I am new in Austin and I’m glad that I finally found a trustworthy auto mechanic shop. Highly recommended. I recently relocated to Austin and was looking for a reliable auto shop to replace my belt tensioner. After researching local shops and learning the fair cost for the job, I visited several places, but most were trying to overcharge me. That’s when I found Amazing Auto Repair, which already had great ratings and positive reviews. They gave me an honest, accurate quote and completed the work flawlessly. Their pricing is very fair—easily the best I found in Austin. I was so impressed that I also had them change my oil and do an alignment during the same visit. The staff was friendly, professional, and trustworthy. I’m truly happy I discovered Amazing Auto Repair, and I’ll continue coming back for all my car needs. They got me in same day. They listened to my issue and ran their tests. The tests came back saying everything was fine. I thought it was an alternator issue but they said everything was fine with the alternator, battery and the ignition. I said to leave the car on but engine off for 15 minutes and it’ll die. So they tried it, battery dies and that lead them to believe it was an issue with a cell in the battery. I told them it was under warranty at another shop so they jumped me and sent me on my way. (I did have to pay for the diagnostic tests, but they are thorough and they text you the report.) So glad they listened to me and took my suggestion when they could have easily brushed me off and said “the tests shows everything is fine.”

I was just there for an oil change and they did a full inspection. The summary was easy to understand and very concise. Excellent service, I will definitely return for my car repairs.

So convenient; so friendly; fairly-priced. I discovered this spot after receiving some coupons from them in the mail. Prior to this I planned on getting an oil change and wheel alignment at Meineke (~$200). I got both done at Amazing for around $130 (original price: ~$150). I waited for my car inside their lobby: they have WiFi, snacks, super cold ac, really cute restroom, and drinks!
