They helped me when I needed it. My car was making a noise that I haven’t heard before. Dave and the rest of the Staff were sooo Sweet. They took good care of me. Will be taking my car back if needed.

My shifter on my jeep latitude has been throwing codes and saying service shifter. It has also started saying the shifter is in wrong gear and shutting my car off when the car slows to turn or stop. The owner David looked it up on the code machine, he also looked to see if there is a recall on the shifter, and went above and beyond to call a dealership since the part replacement has to be reprogrammed at the dealership, to find out if there was for sure a recall on the part for my year and model. American auto put my car on the platform and made sure it wasn't something as simple as loose parts or an easy fix. So thankful for there help. He recommended me to a good dealership that could finish the work, since it did need to be reprogrammed after. Such a stand up guy and business! I highly

I made it home, woo hoo! All thanks to this amazing group of people. They were so helpful and so awsome about finding out what was wrong with my car, even drove 80 miles to get the only part around. They made me feel so at ease and I would recommend them to everyone. They new I needed to get home to alabama, 6 hour drive and it was accomplished. Decent work decent turn around time. Very clean shop. I did call awhile back and asked for price on service a rear end and trans I was told that they don’t do that unless there is an issue with the performance of those item. I asked then why does the manufacturer say to service those areas at certain miles. She couldn’t answer that. They are kinda of high on labor. Otherwise good place
