American House Westland Venoy

I highly recommend American House Venoy if you are looking for a place for your loved one. We moved our father there Sept of 2023, and it was the best choice we made. The staff is amazing! From the office staff to caregivers and everyone else. My dad loved being there, they treated him so well. You could see the impact they made on our dad and we saw the impact he made on them. I will be forever grateful for the care and friendship he received there.

The staff and facilities are wonderful! They did a fantastic job caring for our 94 year old mother while she lived there. They were very friendly and attentive to all of our needs for mom's care. Our family is very thankful for everything the staff did for us.

My mother lives at this American house. Sarah and Cindy go above and beyond at this American House to make sure the people who live there are taken care of. I have had to call a Lyft to get my mother to daycare and they make sure my mother gets picked up. I have been really happy with this place. My mom even goes and spends time in the TV room visiting with other people that live there too. I highly recommend this place. Cindy and Sarah care about the residents that live here. Residents can have their own cell phones or I have a landline in my mother room. They have cable hook up if you want to pay for the services. They take care of my mom laundry and clean weekly. I'd like to thank the hospice team especially, as well as the daily care team at the Venoy American House for helping with my Mom the last four or so years. Very caring team of hard working, thoughtful people. It's a difficult job but your effort is very much appreciated.

Looking for a place my mother went to American house in Westland tour the facility which did not happen. We never left the office upon arrival. I smelled the strong urine smell at the front door when we were in the office talking to the Director. The only thing she seemed focused on, was the lack of money to place my mother And how the difference was going to be covered and who was going to pay for it. It was also concerning when she informed us that the patients are not allowed to have cell phones. That’s a big red flag. Why can the patient not have cell phones?
