Amerishine Car Wash

My favorite carwash in town. My son has special needs and loves to go through the carwash for calming. All the employees are always so kind to us and especially my son. The employees always take great care of us. Jason and Christian always make sure we are well taken care of!! Would highly recommend if you what a shining car along with wonderful customer service!!

I’ve been a loyal customer and paying member at the Barksdale location since moving to the area in 2023. After a recent incident where my vehicle was damaged due to a new employee’s failure to properly stop the Skytrack (per Chasity), I am officially cancelling my membership. When the damage occurred, I spoke with Chasity Haynes and Crystal Phillips. From the start, Crystal immediately denied our claim without any formal assessment. We asked her to submit the insurance claim regardless—which she said she would—but she was never able to provide any proof that it was actually submitted. I also spoke in person with District Manager Ryan Grafton, who admitted he hadn’t been made aware of the incident at all. After our conversation, he completely disappeared and never followed up. Went here a few weeks ago and got stuck in the wash.. ended up needing a new tire as mine was heavily damaged after their many attempts to get my car out that led go deep scratches on my driver door among other small damages once i was freed no one said anything to me about insurance, or even told me about the damage done to my car. My mom has called multiple times to at-least get them to prove what they are saying is my fault but they refuse to work with on this.

I went to Amerishine at 714 Shreveport Barksdale in Shreveport, Louisiana, and paid $15 for a car wash (Sunday, September 14, 2025). However, a car had gone off the track inside the car wash tunnel. An employee approached my car, as I was next in line, and asked me to exit the line to receive a refund because they were trying to free the stuck car. I exited and waited inside the office for about 15 minutes. Then I went outside and asked an employee named Bree how much longer it would take, as I was not expecting to be there that long. She replied, "When I get this car unstuck." I asked, "How long do you think that will be?" She repeated, "AS SOON AS I GET THIS CAR UNSTUCK!" I said, "I'm sorry, I wasn't expecting to be here this long. Can you give me an estimated time?" She again responded,

$25 for the Cermaic Shield wash. $1 tip to the guy helping customers complete the purchase. $5 tip to the brush washers at the start of the car wash. Free vacuum with a preferred 15 min time limit. $31 dollar visit, car still dirty down the middle. I wasn't upset at all, but I stopped and asked if that was typical of the $25 car wash. The nice young lady called her manager to ask what to do. She reported that the manager stated that I would just have to purchase another wash! Um NOPE!! I am extremely disappointed and shocked with the experience. Not worth the cost at all. My advice, IF you do go here, just get the basic wash because that's all you are getting in the long run no matter what you pay for or tip.
