This used to be my go to place for vehicle safety inspections, and I came here every year without hesitation. When I first started coming here, the front desk staff was always friendly, welcoming, and professional. Four years ago, I met Amine, the owner, who was extremely friendly and efficient. He completed my inspection quickly, I tipped him generously, and I referred multiple people because of the consistently positive experience. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was very disappointing and completely different from what I had come to expect. To say I am dissatisfied with Amicars is an understatement… the amount of inconvenience the entire process caused is unbelievable. I informed the shop 3 days in advance that I would be coming to purchase the 2016 Ford Edge. I had the check in my hand ready to proceed with purchasing the vehicle as I financed through my own credit union. I get to the dealership and the car was not even close to being ready for sale. It was not inspected, brakes were not changed as stated they would be, less than a quarter tank of gas, and the car was not detailed. The vehicle was supposedly taken to the car wash and gas station before leaving the lot. I had a terrible experience at Amicars when I went for a car inspection. While I understand my window tints were above the legal limit and needed to be removed, the way the situation was handled was completely unprofessional. Initially, I was told it would cost $10 per window to remove the tint, which I agreed to. However, as the process took longer than expected, they decided to double the price to $20 per window without any justification other than their own delays. To make matters worse, their removal process was careless and caused noticeable damage to my car. They left a melted piece of plastic stuck in the carpet, a piece of tint wedged between the window glass, and even managed to melt the outside silicone of my car. Easy to deal with, low pressure, I got a great deal on a new work van from these guy. Very up front and honest, sent me the full report from auction with before and after pictures of the repairs they made. Love my new work van. Price was sweet enough that I flew in from Kentucky to drive it back home.

I had a great experience with Ami cars. Bassam was friendly and reasonable and gave a great deal on a 2011 Accord with only 110,000 miles on it, that was in amazing condition. The car was having A/C issues when I looked at it. He had a whole new A/C compressor put in it and had it running ice cold before I came to pick up the car. I came with my own financing from my bank, they made the purchasing and titling process nice and easy for me. I was in and out in less than an hour. Thank you Amicars!!
