I have a Ford Transit Custom Van. At 80,000 miles I started getting a warning light Service Transmission along with Hill Start and Check Engine light. I had a local repair shop try to service this to no avail. I found Anderson Transmission Service located in Elmont,NY I immediately called the shop and had the pleasure to speak to Boris who was professional, courteous and patient to hear my claim. He asked me to come in asap for a diagnostic on the Van. Once there he did his magic and was able to analyze the transmissions needs. He actually had such an incredible inventory on the premises and even showed me the parts that were to be needed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review – These Guys Brought My Yukon Back to Life! I don’t usually write reviews, but after the nightmare I went through at another shop (not naming names), I felt I had to share my experience with Andersen Transmission. Long story short — my Yukon was down for 5 weeks at a different shop. Nothing but delays, excuses, and confusion. My truck wasn’t running, and I was beyond frustrated. A trusted mechanic of mine finally referred me to Andersen Transmission, and I’m SO glad he did. I went to the shop and met Boris, the owner. I explained everything that had happened, what I was told, and how long I’d been without my vehicle. Boris listened closely and told me to bring the truck in so they could take a look for themselves. I had my Yukon towed in on a Monday afternoon.

Although I got a new transmission and Boris was really helpful with my finances regarding a new transmission for my car, It’s been about 5 month since the time I’ve gotten my car fixed. My transmission is still having the same problem. One month after my new transmission was installed I had to go back and I had to pay $80 just for a new screw in the transmission. Which ultimately lead me to believe why was that screw loose? Nevertheless, I went to someone else and they taken care of my situation. Unfortunately I had to pay a chunk I realized that my review wasn’t off importance when I get my car back on the road. Boris and his team are great! I would know because this is my third time working with them! Most recently I brought in my R53 Mini Cooper S for what I thought was just a transmission repair. In the end I needed a transmission, new clutch kit and a laundry list of other punch items. Boris and his team took their time to make sure the car was safe and get the car running again and moving but something was off. Immediately they went back to work on the car and noticed the MAP Sensor was damaged and also the connector. They ordered the final two pieces to the puzzle and just like that we are back in action! What I love about Andersen is it is a complete service!
