Anthony's Transmission and Auto Service

They claimed they "couldn't recreate the problem" and charged twice the quoted price without any communication. We recreated the problem driving away from their building. They also claimed to clear codes on the truck but they couldn't remember what they were. Don't trust these people.

We drove to Myrtle Beach this past Friday for a weekend vacay in Myrtle Beach. Unfortunately, on the way there, our transmission fluid was over heating on our 2019 Suburban. We googled transmission shops near our resort, and Anthony's came up. We called him, and he said bring it in Saturday morning to look at it. He was able to determine the issue right away and on Monday morning we brought it in to be serviced. He took down the transmission, took out all the bad pieces and put it back together again with better parts. He understood our situation and urgency to be rolling again. Anthony had our truck done by Wednesday afternoon, ready to go home. We had planned on going home Tuesday, so we got a bonus day in Myrtle (which the kids were happy about!). I've been going to see Anthony for several years now. He takes great care of my car. Many reviews state that Anthony has "a bad attitude". I believe this is a misunderstanding. Anthony has a dry sense of humor and he is very direct. I appreciate his direct nature. I would rather someone be direct than be friendly and clueless. Anthony is a great person and has no malicious intent to come across as "rude" or having a "bad attitude", its just his personality. Don't take it personally! If you are easily offended then maybe he's not right for you but I find him to be trust worthy, loyal and dependable! His prices are the lowest of anywhere I've been, and quality of work is great. We drove from NY and the brakes on our car were grinding. We called and Anthony picked up the phone right away. He found a way to fit us into his busy schedule and accommodate all our car needs. He called all around until he found the part that was critical for fixing our car. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything and his plan for getting our car back up and running. His business exudes kindness, his knowledge of cars was impressive and his prices were extremely reasonable. He took care of us and I highly recommend using Anthony for all your car needs. We were from out of town and was due to head back home within a few days... I have read all of the reviews about this shop on here but we decided to give it a shot. As soon as we got there, it felt like home! We were assured everything was going to be okay and he stuck to his word. I did put it to the test and it endured everything. He also put 4 quarts of different fluids and gave us the diagnostics that was still in the history of the check engine light! I do highly recommend them! Only reason it's not 5 stars is because we were told it would be a 1 year warranty from the beginning but when we picked it up we were told it was only a 6 month warranty. Also, our hood has a little bend to it but it's a simple fix. Overall, he got the transmission rebuilt in amazing timing and we are truly g
