I will keep this brief. I own an auto garage in Raleigh and I still take my TDI to these guys to have the work done. And especially the tuning. These guys have forgotten more about VW, Audi and Porsche than I will ever know. And the owner Kevin is incredibly well versed with them. I would recommend anyone with one of those makes to swing by.
Had a great experience with my Audi Q7 routine maintenance. The service advisor was excellent, very prompt communication via email and addressed all my concerns. Very reasonable prices for labor and original European parts
Apex tuning absolutely killed it! I was recommended this place from Yeargan’s Top Notch Auto in Carrboro to get a new exhaust on my 2024 Tiguan. They sent me a list of options and I selected one of the loud ones. Wait time was quick and my car sounds beautiful. Also kudos to them for having a changing table in the bathroom!! I cannot wait to come back to get it tuned up!
I was referred to these guys after trying a few other local shops that just didn't cut the mustard. Wow! I can easily see why these guys have been in business for 20yrs. From the communication up front to the expertise of the techs notes, I have now found my Volkswagen whisperers. They are quite busy and booked out for a week but I now understand why.
I have had German Sports Cars for decades, including several high end BMWs and more recently Porsches (currently 911 Carrera GTS). My daughter's car ( 2017 GTI SE manual) which was serviced at the local VW dealer threw a check engine light. Spark plug electrode broke and scored a cylinder. VW service advisor was honest enough to suggest we don't do the engine replacement there. Took it to another highly rated indy in Raleigh and they just quoted the long block and nothing else. Took it to Apex Tuning and they suggested that since the car had 65K miles and the engine was out to go ahead and do a full transmission service (clutch, flywheel, limited slip fluid). This impressed me since they really thought about the well being of the car. Highly recommended. Fair pricing and great customer car
