Aptos Smog Check

In and out in less than 10 minutes - ! Owner was professional, polite and so fast. Just the easiest experience I’ve had getting my car smogged. I will definitely be back! This is a great business to have in Aptos let’s keep him busy and make sure he stays put!

Stopped by as a walk in and was able to be seen in 10 minutes, smog took less than 15 minutes. I was able to go across the street for a coffee and as I was walking back I was already getting a call my car was done! Cesar was so nice and helpful, amazing service!

I procrastinated getting my car smogged before my registration renewal due date, but the rain prevented me from wanting to drive to my usual Smog place. I saw that Aptos Smog had good reviews, and took walk-ins, and are conveniently closer than my usual place. When I showed up, one other customer was getting their car done, but the wait for them to finish was only 5-10 minutes. Then I only waited about another 10 minutes for my car to be finished. The technician (owner?) was very polite and quick with the service- I was pleased I decided to try Aptos Smog out, and will use them again the next time I need to get that done :)

No appointment needed. Very quick turnaround (there were no others waiting initially, only one waiting at completion), very friendly, very local. Love supporting a local business, and more importantly to me, supporting a young gentleman on their business venture. If there is a waiting line, there are a few local coffee shops and a beautiful redwood forest to busy yourself in any wait, all within one or two blocks. Awesome place!
