Area Towing and Recovery Inc in Melrose Park

They were sitting around watching the parking lot just waiting to tow trucks. We park by the Aldi all the time & have never seen any signs that say no tractor/trailer parking. That’s because there are 5 entrances to the entire parking lot & they only have one sign. They claim there are signs everywhere as if you can’t see for yourself. Scammers is what they are. 5 minutes in the store & towed. $700. Bs.

My car broke down in Melrose park tonight and I didn’t know what to do. Called the Police Department and they said we use Area Towing and called for me. They gave me a reasonable price and only took them about 15 minutes to arrive. Jayzer came with his flat bed, was so kind & professional with me, asked what happened and then proceeded to get me out of the cold and into the truck while he hooked my car up. Jayzer is such a nice young man and helped put me at ease with conversation so I wouldn’t worry about my poor car. ( my coolant hose split and coolant exploded all over the engine causing a ton of smoke) I enjoyed the ride & our conversation and am so thankful Jayzer was on duty and arrived so quickly. My car broke down in a busy intersection on North Avenue and fifth in Melrose Park on 8/18/25 . Police officers came to my aid. My insurance company was unable to send me a tow truck as soon as possible so the police officers called area towing they were within 10 minutes I was helped and my car was told to my mechanic in Westmont thank you area towing. I would’ve given a better rating however I have been asking for my bill to submit to my insurance and I have not received any callback or anything mailed to me
