This place is a joke! My son bought a truck there and 1 week later it dropped the transmission. They refused to help at all. Several shops we have talked to about getting the truck fixed say they have had a bunch of vehicles just like this from them! Do not buy from them

The shopping experience was nice. However, we only had the truck two days, and then we had a tire explode. Then, the next day, the engine exploded. They did agree to pay for 1/2 of what it's costing to fix it. They claimed to have a new motor for cheaper then or mechanic could get it so we agreed. We went back to the bank and got our part. Called and informed Jeff we had our part, he said he would bring his part later today we got a call from the mechanic telling us there promise was hollow ended up being a used motor with 190K miles on it that around 66k miles more then the truck had to begin with. Horrible vehicles they patch them up just to make a sale. Famous for bad transmissions, and they will not honor anything even just a week after the sale

I contacted Arklatex through CarGurus but for some reason Stivers motors was the name on my paperwork. Arklatex now claims I have never purchased a vehicle through them. They have 3 dealerships in a small building with room for maybe 30 vehicles on the lot. In hindsight it should have warned me I was about to get hustled. Vehicle was clean and was told that it had been thoroughly checked out. 2500 miles after leaving the lot the engine needs a full overhaul. Response from Arklatex whom I contacted first about the vehicle "We have no record of you". Response from Stivers "Sorry but blah blah blah..". BUYER BEWARE! They only care about your $$$ once they got it they do not care what happens to you or the vehicle.
