This was my 1st time going to this shop. I am a little skeptical about new places but this experience was a pleasant surprise. Keith had me in and out for an inspection in roughly 30 minutes. He was friendly and informative. Now I feel comfortable knowing that there’s a shop near my home if/when any other service is needed. Thanks Keith!

I visited Arverne Automobile Repair this morning for a routine New York State vehicle inspection. I maintain my vehicle carefully and have passed inspections and emissions tests for years, so I was confident it would meet all required criteria. Within about five minutes of leaving my car with them, staff informed me the vehicle had already failed due to an issue with a component they cited — a component that is actually not required or inspected under New York State’s vehicle inspection standards, however they had the right one today! It was clear from how quickly they returned that a proper, complete inspection had not been performed. Ladies if you’re scared of mechanics and think you’re getting scammed this is the place you need to go. I don’t even have to research the price anymore. Keith is the person you talk to straight up. I’m not sure if he’s the owner but if he is god bless him for being so grounded and welcoming. Thank you again for a great service and reasonable prices.
