My 100% authentic "auto repair" (more like auto dismantling) experience with assurance auto is almost identical to Dustin Hanson's experience with auto assurance. My vehicle was returned to me missing small parts, and the mechanic did not put vital things back together entirely in order for my vehicle to function as it should and potentially cause more damage had I not got it right in to a competent mechanic. It took them a week to do what can be done in hours. The lady who answered the phone Meghan sounded annoyed and exasperated when I asked questions. I knew something was off after I picked my vehicle up. I took it to another mechanic that confirmed auto assurance botched the work and had to be redone as well as replace the missing parts that were on my vehicle and put it back together

My car had a pretty bad oil leak. I drove me car to assurance auto and they took care of the oil leak quickly. They were professional and knowledgeable. My car was fixed the same day that I dropped it off. I'm so grateful these guys are here. They only charged for the parts my car needed. What would have been an expensive fix at another auto shop, was only a few dollars. This place literally is here to help people who don't have the money to fix there car any where else. They only charge for parts. I was able to donate a few dollars to a place that is only there to help people. I will definitely use assurance auto again.

As soon as I saw the article about this shop, I immediately called to schedule an appointment to get my vehicle repaired. I explained all the work I needed done and even offered donations for the help. Today (4/2/2025) was the day of my appointment and they refused my car, which had to be towed because the e-brake is stuck. Apparently, the woman who took my appointment had been fired for scheduling MULTIPLE appointments for services they didn’t provide. My car’s primary issue is the heater core and is apparently one of the repairs they are not equipped to do. Instead of calling me after they fired her, or hell when I SCHEDULED the appointment, they waited until today to inform us that they wouldn’t repair the heater core. That’s fine, I had a couple other things that needed to be done as w

Assurance always goes above and beyond!! They have helped me and multiple friends get much needed work done with fast and efficient service! Being a nonprofit organization it's the perfect place for people on a fixed income or low on funds in a pinch. I had scheduled a few weeks back and took my vehicle in yesterday and was given excellent service. They were very good at calling me and keeping me updated on what they found and what the cost would be for the parts. They now have a great new mechanic with years of experience and a new technician who also has experience in the field. I would recommend this shop to anyone out there looking for an affordable way to get your repairs done.
