I strongly advise against bringing your vehicle to this establishment. If it were possible to rate this business zero stars, I would do so. My husband and I paid the owner, Xavier, several thousand dollars to repair our transmission. Not only did he keep our vehicle for months, but within two weeks of finally receiving it back, the transmission failed again. When we had the car towed back, Xavier accused us of damaging the catalytic converter—something that made no sense, as we had barely had the vehicle long enough to cause any damage. Despite this, we paid an additional several thousand dollars for the repair. Only a few months later, the vehicle failed yet again. The worst auto mechanic place ever. I gave them a second try and they scammed me again. Do not go to this place. Horrible mechanics and very unknowable of fixing cars. They will take your money and give you a refund when the repairs are not done. Warning

On 05/23/2025, my son had his engine replaced in his 2004 Mustang GT. Carshield paid to have the engine replaced for $6000...$3200 for the engine and the rest for labor. The engine is not running right and leaking oil. My son took it back because it is under warranty and they will not honor the warranty. The manager told me only the engine block was covered because that was what he bought from a junkyard. Carshield paid for a complete engine and the invoice also shows a complete engine, a junk engine block does not cost $3200. ATL also charged my son $130 today for a diagnostic which is ridiculous. Also the manager hung up on me, that was very professional of him. I feel if this doesn't get resolved legal action will have to be the next step.

1st time coming to ATL for a valve job on my 87 Monte Carlo..was very satisfied with the service. Xavier & Willie were honest and straight forward with the work on my car, which only took 1 day to complete. I look forward to doing business again with them in the future.

I do a lot of my own maintenance work, but I don't have the tools or experience for everything. When that happens I need a good mechanic. I was referred to ATL by a friend, and they did not disappoint. They are honest, straight forward, and do good work. A reliable mechanic can be hard to find, but you have that with ATL.
