Atlanta Rental Car Return

As big of an airport as Atlanta Hartsfield is, they have their process down and it's seamless, at least with AVIS. Never once have I had an issue or a long wait for a car here. Nice to know they want to make it as fast and hassle free as possible.

This was a quick return! No wait - drive right in and walk away! The workers were great. I used Hertz at the airport in Atlana. They made it too easy!

Super easy pickup and return with Sixt. I travel here a lot and have never had a bad experience—always smooth and reliable.

Car rental through Hertz at Atlanta airport has and was a challenge. I cringe when I have to use their rental service. When at counter what is instructed and promised is incorrect to what actually unfolds. It is a fight until deposit is returned ( which is not a swift action) In December 2025 while I was at the counter during transaction I was publicly accosted by a customer trying to solicit me to go with him ( public human trafficking) then car I rented was not provided. Took almost 2 hours to get a vehicle. Then returning car I was yelled at by man directing car to parking. Rude. I just don’t understand the level of poor customer service. January 2026 : took $700 worth of deposit for a rental!! Really. I called about that and it took me returning vehicle ( weeks) to have my money dep

I always have a good customer service experience at the rental car location here at the ATL airport. The ppl are friendly. The train takes you from the terminals to the rental car center so you do not have to worry about navigating yourself.
