ATR ls swap shop

Where do I begin. John great guy, but LAZY as heck!!! He has no sense of urgency. If he gets frustrated with your build. He will put it off until it’s convenient for him to start again. If you want a boost (turbo or supercharge) LS Swap. Do not bring it to this shop. He lacks the knowledge to complete a full boost build from start to finish. This shop does not have a skilled fabricator. His knowledge with Holley Terminator X is lackluster. I brought my car there in December 2023 and had to take it back because he re-wired my TermX (ignition and fuel pump) in which caused my heads to overflow with gas completely washing away the oil from lifters. Ultimately resulted in me having to replace the lifters. I really would like to say more but it gets really bad. Nonetheless I wouldn’t recommend

Went to the shop and talked to John about swapping an LS engine into my 73 Avanti. He seemed pretty excited about it and told me to find an engine. I found a nice 5.7 from a Corvette and dropped it off in December of 2023. Was told that it should be about a month to get started. A month goes by and then another, and another, you get the picture. I went yesterday, July 5th 2024 and picked up my engine and transmission. John will not answer texts or phone calls. All he said when I went to pick my stuff up was OK. No apologies or I'm sorry, just OK. I got the feeling that this has happened to him before. He will spend his time on Facebook bashing other shops, but his customer service is non existent. Wish I could write a good review, but he wasted 6 months of my valuable time.

Honestly wanted to have a better outcome the staff is great but due to time restrictions and deadlines they didn’t meet my expectations for my truck build and I ended up selling my truck before every being able to have it complete . If you have 6-1 year to wait go for it if not they are not for you

Been using this shop for my two daily drivers and my classic car and they've been able to repair/upgrade anything I've asked. Reasonably priced and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Trustworthy and dependable! Having been coming to him for 6 years now and he never disappoints! He knows what he’s doing when it comes to fixing cars! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
